Highlanders nel bazar di Scutari
Una donna di montagna che trasporta quella che è nota come
la cassa nuziale, probabilmente per la propria figlia. La sposa
riempì questa cassa con la sua dote, assicurando abbastanza
vestiti per una intera vita. Essa conteneva anche i vestiti da
indosare in punto di morte. Altri quattro montanari, tra cui un
bambino, e un altro uomo, che dagli abiti sembra un cittadino
di Scutari, osservano la scena senza prestre aiuto.

Highlanders in Shkodra’s bazaar
A mountain woman loaded with what is known as the bridal
chest, probably for the daughter. The bride filled this chest
with her dowry, enough clothes for her whole life. Inside were
the clothes of death too. Four other mountaineers, a child
among them, and another man, from the clothes he looks like
a Shkodran citizen, they all look without helping at all.
